read the paper, vote, and most importantly call your representativesDude, I don’t know how you haven’t figured this out yet, but American politics are a ruse to make us think we have control over our government. In reality we don’t at all. Massive corporations have our entire government neatly wrapped in their back pockets. You can vote and call your reps all you want, nothing will change.
This is the pussification of America’s youth that I’m talking about. We completely miss the reason behind the vandalism and only see it as just that, vandalism. So what if some kid got punched in the nose and got the DVD player HE stole, stolen. Did you expect revolution to be peaceful and generally uneventful? There will always be bad eggs in every group, but the cause for the riots is still there (Duggan was murdered), and I can think of no better way of sending a message to the government, than burning it to the ground.
